TEAM 51 - OH NO

When I was in school I did barrel racing after my horse passed away when I was 18 I didn't get another horse until last summer needless to say I'm very rusty. I will be riding western when I can get the courage to final get on again.

I joined the Derby in hopes that it will give me some motivation to get on again. I haven't ridden in so long I'm scared. I never had a bad experience so I not sure why I feel this way. I use to be a good rider very confident probably to confident. I just need to get on and do it. This will also be a good way for me to track how much time I'm really spending with my baby girls!

  1. If you are close to Bass River or Silver Creek I would be happy to ride with you. I am a very SLOW and EASY type rider. I started riding just a few years ago and had some very bad experiences so I stick to slow and easy. My trail horse is great and doesn't feed off the other horses. He is just an old (23) paint.

  2. I so understand your story!! I hadn't ridden in 20+ years and took me a lot to finally start to feel comfortable in the saddle. Its not perfect but I am getting there. I'm in Genesse Twp/Flint area... If you are close would love to help you out :)

  3. I live 1.5 miles from Bass and camp at Silver alot! Look me up on Facebook, Heather Stille. We can connect. I like a controlled trot at times but mostly walk myself. Let's connect in the spring for I only ride on my farm in the winter. Look me Up!!!
